A good turnout of about 250 residents and children came to watch the Mayor of Lisburn switch on the Christmas lights. The Mayor was joined by local councillors, clergy and a welcoming party from Anahilt Community Association. Thankfully the threatened rain held off. Children and Teachers from Anahilt Primary School took part in the ceremony by singing Christmas hymns and carols.
